Courtney Allen is a photographer, performer and creator.

Her work has evolved from her fascination for people, relationships, intimacy and humans interconnection with nature. As a multidisciplinary artist, her practice embraces multi-faceted forms of expression. Her background in dance, modelling and acting have also given her front of camera experience allowing her to see all projects from a multiple of perspectives.

Alongside her freelance career, in 2021 Courtney completed a 5 month artist residency working alongside an intergenerational group of artists from different modalities towards a theatre production called 'Invocation' which explored Climate Change and humans essential connection to nature. During this time she practiced full time as a contemporary dancer under the mentorship of  Elizabeth Cameron Dalman - Australia's Grandmother of Contemporary Dance who founded Australian Dance Theatre. Click here
